Opinions: Ok lets talk about the top three first. Fedor’s rank is bullshit, he should be first, MAYBE second to Silva, i am not saying GSP is not a good fighter! He is undoubtedly a great fighter, but he simply is not the caliber of Fedor, He is one of the best MMA fighters of all time, and as any fan of his knows his one “loss” should not have been a loss at all, it was stopped by a doctor due to a cut from an ILLEGAL move in the tournament, his record is amazing and he is a Russian judo and 12 time sambo champion, as well as the winner of quite a few MMA tournaments. Now Silva, his position is pretty good, like i said he could be placed 2nd to Fedor, but i think he is nearly as qualified and so i will give it to him. On to GSP, while i think he is undoubtedly a great fighter i think he is over-ranked on this list, i would but him 3rd at best and more than likely 4th, his loss to Serra was more than likely luck but still, Serra?!?!?! Seriously? His loss to Hughes was legitimate, although he did beat him in a rematch, i feel like Hughes would beat him again if there is yet another rematch, but i shouldn’t even talk about Hughes considering he is (in my opinion wrongly) not on this list. Now lets talk about the number one light heavy weight fighter in the world, Machida, when i said GSP should be fourth, you may have thought who should be in third then? This man of course, he should have had a title shot a long time ago, but he just got one, and crushed Evans, he is an outstanding fighter and is quickly closing in on the best pound for pound fighters in the world. Torres, not much to say he has an outstanding record, that he claims is even better than what he is given credit for, BUT, he has fought mostly chumps, there are not a lot of good bantam weight fighters out there. Ok Penn, not much to say great fighter, crazy as hell, will fight anyone in any weight class. Jackson, good fighter, over rated, i would not have put him on my list. Brown, i think he is good, but i think he needs to prove himself a bit more in the big leagues, but i am glad he beat that douche bag Faber! I don’t know enough about Alves to talk about him. And finally Evans, he is a very good fighter, he is under rated and over rated at the same time, i am glad that Machida won the fight but i want to see more from Evans in the future.
